Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Erik Branco took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee ignored Amarantina SS's protests and gave Wiliam Melo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Basílio Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 13 played minutes Amarantina SS got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Marquez. In the 21st minute Erik Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Basílio Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapinima AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basílio Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Paulista to make the kick off. Cleiton Proença stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Paulista's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Abel Soeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapinima AD's André Luiz Favoretto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Erik Branco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Anselmo Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleiton Proença having to interfere.
