Anísio Neves started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Anísio Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Anísio Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pegasus FC booed when Hanniballs F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hanniballs F.C's Dráusio Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Mota in the 14th minute of play. Anísio Neves struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Dráusio Donato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pegasus FC. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hanniballs F.C's goalkeeper Dráusio Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hanniballs F.C's zone, Anísio Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dráusio Donato came out of the goal and Anísio Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hanniballs F.C's Dráusio Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Mota in the 31st minute of play. After 35 played minutes Hanniballs F.C got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Mangueira. Jeremias Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Guga Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Abreu having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Jeremias Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hanniballs F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremias Fontes was the one to do the kick off. Dráusio Donato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fellipe Mota in the 55th minute. 68 minutes into the game, one of Hanniballs F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pegasus FC's Fellipe Mota was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 84 played minutes Pegasus FC got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Coelho. Mauro Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dráusio Donato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fellipe Mota in the 90th minute. Fellipe Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Dráusio Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anísio Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Donato having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pegasus FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
