After a rather tough play, Pegasus FC's Anísio Neves got a free kick in the 4th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Pegasus FC's Anísio Neves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amadeu Guerra. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Matheus do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th match minute, Pegasus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Guga Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Ernesto Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Pegasus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus do Vale came free, but Guga Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anderson Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Pegasus FC booed when Caldeira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Oswaldo Alagoano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amadeu Guerra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Pegasus FC booed when Caldeira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Ronaldinho Soeiro from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Amadeu Guerra's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If André Luiz Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Matheus do Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guga Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Caldeira FC's André Luiz Lucas got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of Caldeira FC booed when Pegasus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anísio Neves made a kick off. Amauri Lima hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Caldeira FC were furious when Anderson Gomes was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Caldeira FC's Anderson Gomes got a free kick in the 63rd minute. André Luiz Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Abreu having to interfere. Amadeu Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Neves in the 67th minute of the match. Matheus do Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guga Abreu having to make a save. Caldeira FC's Egídio Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Matheus do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caldeira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matheus do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guga Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matheus do Vale struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Guga Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caldeira FC.
