Paulão Siqueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Gláuber Brodel made a huge save. Ademar Motta might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gláuber Brodel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademar Motta ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the match, Bela Vista's goalkeeper Gláuber Brodel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulão Siqueira. Gláuber Brodel made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Paulão Siqueira sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Bela Vista defense, Paulão Siqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gláuber Brodel. The Bela Vista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gláuber Brodel should have stopped the shot. After having played for 93 minutes, Laerte Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catarina F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Laerte Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amadeu Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Catarina F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
