When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arlindo Valle made a kick off. Válter Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erivaldo Negri during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, HOLANDA's Erivaldo Negri got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 58 minutes, Fabinho Mello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HOLANDA and the Cachimho SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. HOLANDA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Caetano Brodel ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 82 minutes, Elias Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachimho SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Maranhense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for HOLANDA! When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, Cachimho SS's Caetano Brodel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jânio Freitas. HOLANDA's Jânio Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Amorim in the 91st minute of play. Erivaldo Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Válter Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
