Aílton Coelho came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Josué Marquez could save by the left post. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Minas Novas FC's goalkeeper Matheus Zonta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Josué Marquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Washington Donatello's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Josué Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Vitório Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute.
