Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arlindo Valle got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Figueiredo in the 5th minute of play forced HOLANDA's goalkeeper Jânio Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marmelada SC's zone, Iuri Munhoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arí Simões came out of the goal and Iuri Munhoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Figueiredo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jânio Freitas saved HOLANDA from getting behind. After 22 played minutes Marmelada SC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Figueiredo. If Arlindo Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardinho Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Jânio Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marmelada SC. Tarcisio Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jânio Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes HOLANDA got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Mello. The crowd rose to their feet as Marmelada SC's Ricardinho Figueiredo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jânio Freitas. That made the score 1-0 after 38 minutes of play. Tarcisio Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Freitas having to interfere. Fabinho Mello charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabinho Mello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, HOLANDA's Fabinho Mello got a free kick in the 44th minute. Ricardinho Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Freitas having to interfere. Leandro de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Iuri Munhoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Arí Simões made a huge save. Tarcisio Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Ricardinho Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Arlindo Valle made a precise shot to the right of Arí Simões. Marmelada SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Sílvio Luís Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marmelada SC's protests and gave Sílvio Luís Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. Sílvio Luís Vaz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Tarcisio Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jânio Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcisio Hoffmann in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Marmelada SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro de Lara to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Marmelada SC's Jeferson Berger got a free kick in the 79th minute. When Marmelada SC's Tarcisio Hoffmann in 87 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jânio Freitas guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After having played for 88 minutes, Ricardinho Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marmelada SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardinho Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, HOLANDA's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio Hoffmann came free, but Jânio Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 played minutes HOLANDA got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Mello. Ricardinho Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Freitas having to interfere.
