The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomé Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tales Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didi Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tales Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomé Tavares was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Cruz in the 53rd minute of play forced Inhaumense FC's goalkeeper Tales Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Didi Ramos got free with Tales Donato in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lascadinha FC's Abel Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Tavares in the 62nd minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Romário Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lascadinha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inhaumense FC the free kick. After 62 played minutes Lascadinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Romário Fontes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomé Tavares in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Didi Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lascadinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Didi Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tales Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inhaumense FC's Tales Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Cruz in the 71st minute of play. Reginaldo Ferreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Romário Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Inhaumense FC's zone, Iuri Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Donato came out of the goal and Iuri Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lascadinha FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
