Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Macedo got free with Tales Donato in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Ademar Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Inhaumense FC's Hernani Novaes tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Tomé Tavares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Paulo Vaz. Aracruz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomé Tavares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Tomé Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tales Donato came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Aracruz's Nicolas Macedo. But to his dismay, Nicolas Macedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Aracruz's Adilson Fontes got a free kick in the 21st minute. Reginaldo Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. José Paulo Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Reginaldo Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Reginaldo Ferreira sped through Aracruz's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Paulo Vaz. Tales Donato made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Nicolas Macedo sent off a good shot on target. Luís Fernando Leão's late challenge caught a Aracruz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Fernando Leão helped the player get up and apologised. Inhaumense FC's Tales Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Mota in the 37th minute of play. Reginaldo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Vaz having to interfere. Nicolas Macedo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Tales Donato skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tales Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Agostinho Mota kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tales Donato. That made the score 2-2 in the 48 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Agostinho Mota made the kick off in the second half. João Adolfo Tande charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Adolfo Tande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Aracruz booed when Inhaumense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tales Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Passos in the 60th minute of play. If Agostinho Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. Tales Donato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agostinho Mota went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 77 minutes in the game, Agostinho Mota dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Agostinho Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tales Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tales Donato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Macedo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute.
