Christiano Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Donato having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Inhaumense FC could leave the field as winners, despite Varejeiras do Asfalto FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
