Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ernani Pimenta got the match started through his kick off. When Benjamin Peres came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Santos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Peres couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Peres in the 7th minute of play forced Nandox FC's goalkeeper Diego Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabinho Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nandox FC's Diego Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Paraíba in the 15th minute of play. Diguinho Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Benjamin Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Magalhães having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Murillo Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Santos's Benjamin Peres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diego Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santos's Benjamin Peres got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Maurício Lago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nandox FC the free kick. After 33 played minutes Santos got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Lago. Diego Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Nandox FC's Ernani Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernani Pimenta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valério Bueno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso de Andrade during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Nandox FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso de Andrade. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabinho Paraíba made a kick off. A collision led to Nandox FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Wilian Maciel hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Peres got free with Diego Magalhães in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Nandox FC's goalkeeper Diego Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Peres. Ernani Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Bueno having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Santos! In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Nandox FC. Reynaldo Vale stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Valério Bueno. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogério Koehler in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valério Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Benjamin Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurício Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Nandox FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Maciel. Many of Santos's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Santos may have spent more time on the ball, but Nandox FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
