The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vito Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vito Secco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vito Secco hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. A collision led to Nandox FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Roger Andrade hit a great ball. Jacurutu AD's Rodrigo Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 6 played minutes Nandox FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Leão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Simão in the 10th minute of play forced Nandox FC's goalkeeper Diego Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marcus Simão came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Jacurutu AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Simão couldn't finish the play. When Jacurutu AD's Marcus Simão in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Simão made a kick off. Wellington do Nascimento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogério Koehler went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jacurutu AD's goalkeeper Wellington do Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Nandox FC got a freekick which was hit by Roger Andrade. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Simão in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Magalhães saved Nandox FC from getting behind. The audience cheered when Vitinho Mesquita's long shot passed Diego Magalhães's right side. It was 4-1, 89 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Melo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Diego Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Jacurutu AD were the better team. Jacurutu AD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
