But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Válter Magalhães couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Acucena EC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto de Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válter Magalhães. Téo Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. If Válter Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. DEUTSCHBR had played much better football throughout.
