Manuel de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Magalhães in the 13th minute of the match. Abelardo Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvinho Silva having to interfere. Wiliam Prata hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to DEUTSCHBR getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Wiliam Prata hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, DEUTSCHBR's goalkeeper Silvinho Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abelardo Freitas. Abelardo Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ceara SS getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Manoel Pimenta hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Téo Cardozo made a precise shot to the right of Manuel de Queirós. Ceara SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Abelardo Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Ceara SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Freitas couldn't finish the play. If Gilson Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvinho Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Ceara SS's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Cardozo came free, but Manuel de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ceara SS booed when DEUTSCHBR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Gilson Porto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of DEUTSCHBR's Silvinho Silva. Silvinho Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the match, DEUTSCHBR's goal looked a bit too open when Gilson Porto came free, but Silvinho Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Abelardo Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvinho Silva. DEUTSCHBR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. A collision led to Ceara SS getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. João Neves hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Téo Cardozo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel de Queirós, 3-2. After 94 minutes of play, Ceara SS's Júnior Meirelles made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvinho Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ceara SS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
