If Enéas Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Carlos Alberto de Queiroz came out of the goal and Edgar Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adalberto Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enéas Paraibano in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Alberto de Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romário Catarinense's late challenge caught a Coapoa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Acucena EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Coapoa had played much better football throughout.
