Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nelsinho Simões started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Agnaldo Britto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo Saraiva in the 4th minute of play. Anstreta FC's Ismael Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvaldo Saraiva in the 7th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, Cosmos Futebol Clube's Agnaldo Britto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Figueiredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ismael Figueiredo stood somewhat misplaced when Edvaldo Saraiva came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. After a rather tough play, Cosmos Futebol Clube's Tostão Passos got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Armando Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Anstreta FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alfredão Urbano hit a great ball. If Juninho Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Coutinho having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Edvaldo Saraiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anstreta FC's Ismael Figueiredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edvaldo Saraiva to make the kick off. If Nelsinho Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Coutinho made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Nelsinho Simões sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute, Edvaldo Saraiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismael Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agnaldo Britto in the 62nd minute of play. Armando Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelsinho Simões in the 63rd minute of play. Ismael Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Edvaldo Saraiva scored 4-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Figueiredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Donato Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Anstreta FC booed when Cosmos Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Nelsinho Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anstreta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelsinho Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juninho Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Figueiredo having to interfere. Juninho Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nestor Branco fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anstreta FC's protests and gave Nestor Branco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cosmos Futebol Clube booed when Anstreta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cosmos Futebol Clube had played much better football throughout.
