Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Varzeado's Marcinho de Alcântara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Rafinha Diniz managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Trios FC's Edinho Capixaba fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nicolas Félix received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafinha Diniz came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicolas Félix slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Paulo Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trios FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafinha Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rafinha Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trios FC's Edinho Capixaba got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Varzeado's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Torres came free, but Rafinha Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcinho de Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcinho de Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcinho de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Edinho Capixaba fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rafinha Diniz, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 27 minutes, Paulo Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trios FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Varzeado's Rafinha Diniz got control of the ball when Nicolas Félix tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Varzeado's Dinei Berger got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Varzeado! The goalkeeper, Rafinha Diniz, was totally fooled by Trios FC's Paulo Tróia, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Trios FC booed when Varzeado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rafinha Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Trios FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paulo Tróia in the 54th minute. Trios FC's Paulão da Mata was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rafinha Diniz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 58th minute, Paulo Tróia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafinha Diniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ademir Reis's late challenge caught a Trios FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ademir Reis helped the player get up and apologised. Ademir Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Guga Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trios FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guga Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafinha Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Torres in the 68th minute of play forced Varzeado's goalkeeper Rafinha Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paulão da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulão da Mata in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafinha Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Félix in the 81st minute of play forced Varzeado's goalkeeper Rafinha Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Varzeado's Rafinha Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Tróia in the 82nd minute of play. Paulão da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hermínio Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Didi Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marcinho de Alcântara was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Varzeado's Marcinho de Alcântara got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Marcus Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulão da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Diniz having to interfere. Rafinha Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão da Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Alagoano in the 98th minute of play forced Varzeado's goalkeeper Rafinha Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Trios FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
