Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Paulo Tróia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Aloísio Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Torres in the 7th minute of play. Marcus Ferraz charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Ferraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 18 minutes into the match, Ipe EC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Félix came free, but Aloísio Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Trios FC's Paulo Tróia in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ipe EC's goalie prevented a goal. Paulo Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Veloso having to interfere. When Rogério Meirelles fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipe EC's protests and gave Rogério Meirelles a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ipe EC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Rogério Meirelles hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evandro Gonçalves in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geraldo Lago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulo Tróia's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Aloísio Veloso - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 32nd minute. After 38 played minutes Ipe EC got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão França. In the 39th minute, Paulo Tróia made a precise shot to the right of Aloísio Veloso. Ipe EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 47th play minutes Paulo Tróia shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Aloísio Veloso and just under the crossbar into goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evandro Gonçalves made a kick off. Ian Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Aloísio Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trios FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Alagoano in the 67th minute of play forced Ipe EC's goalkeeper Aloísio Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guga Torres struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Aloísio Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trios FC. Rogério Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Ipe EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Paulo Tróia 77 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Geraldo Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Ipe EC's Rafa de Alcântara got a free kick in the 88th minute. Aloísio Veloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Tróia's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Edinho Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Aloísio Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Paulo Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Trios FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Tróia couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Paulo Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trios FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aloísio Veloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aloísio Veloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Félix in the 98th minute.
