If Abel do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pegasus FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ediberto Reis hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes Democracia Socialista got a freekick which was hit by Ramón da Cunha. After 20 minutes of play, Pegasus FC's Evandro Tinoco made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 郝沙响 was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Democracia Socialista's Ramón da Cunha got a free kick in the 24th minute. The supporters of Pegasus FC booed when Democracia Socialista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cido Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evandro Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. 郝沙响 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pegasus FC's Rubinho Vargas managed to work through Democracia Socialista's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rubinho Vargas dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Pegasus FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Democracia Socialista:s goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rubinho Vargas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rubinho Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 郝沙响 having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Democracia Socialista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Pegasus FC's Murilo Novaes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Democracia Socialista. 64 minutes into the match, Democracia Socialista's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Tinoco came free, but 郝沙响 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Democracia Socialista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Tinoco in the 67th minute of play forced Democracia Socialista's goalkeeper 郝沙响 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Pegasus FC's Evandro Tinoco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 郝沙响 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Pegasus FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcinho de Queirós. If Evandro Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Tinoco in the 78th minute of play forced Democracia Socialista's goalkeeper 郝沙响 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 郝沙响 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Tinoco in the 80th minute of play. Rubinho Vargas might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 郝沙响. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubinho Vargas ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 85 minutes, Evandro Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pegasus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evandro Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pegasus FC's Rubinho Vargas got a free kick in the 88th minute. A collision led to Democracia Socialista getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Abel do Valle hit a great ball. Democracia Socialista's 郝沙响 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Tinoco in the 94th minute of play. Abel do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Democracia Socialista players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pegasus FC.
