A collision led to Colorado getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Artur Neiva hit a great ball. Vágner Rodrigues took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelo Abraão. Colorado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 13th minute, Alfredo Falcão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Drycer's Breno Seco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Drycer from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Colorado's Sílvio da Silveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breno Seco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enrique de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Faria came free, but Marcelo Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Drycer's goalkeeper Breno Seco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique de Alcântara. Renatinho Velasco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Breno Seco. Drycer's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Breno Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio da Silveira in the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sílvio da Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. Enrique de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Breno Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colorado's Sílvio da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Enrique de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes Drycer got a freekick which was hit by Dráusio Passos. Colorado were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Drycer's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Renatinho Velasco took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Raphael Freire managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Colorado walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
