Alberto Paraense scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renan de Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 11 minutes of play, Mattosinhos FC's Felipe de Brito made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renan de Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Macucu's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Paraense came free, but Renan de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe de Brito struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Renan de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mattosinhos FC. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felipe de Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. João Augusto Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laércio Reis having to make a save. Samuca Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio Reis having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Samuca Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laércio Reis was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Despite this Renan de Alcântara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
