Breno Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Valadares in the 17th minute of the match. Drycer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olimpo Football Club the free kick. Cauã Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The audience held their breath when João Vítor dos Santos in the 48th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Breno Seco's left hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Percy Valadares got free with Breno Seco in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the game, Percy Valadares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Breno Seco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ulisses Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Dráusio Passos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drycer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olimpo Football Club the free kick. After some careless play in the Olimpo Football Club defense, Waldir Faria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aírton Simão. The Olimpo Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aírton Simão should have stopped the shot. Waldir Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldir Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
