João Carlos Koehler hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Benjamin Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marquinhos Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Eger having to interfere. Washington Senna lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 16 minutes into the game, S.E. Los Bigodes's Benjamin Toscano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Eger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Marquinhos Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Los Bigodes's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Eger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. S.E. Paixão Verde's Ernesto Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Duarte in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, S.E. Paixão Verde's Ademar Urbano got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Marquinhos Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Los Bigodes's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Eger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute Marquinhos Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Penha in the 35th minute of play. Marquinhos Duarte took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Eger. Ernesto Eger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ernesto Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Paixão Verde's zone, Benjamin Toscano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Eger came out of the goal and Benjamin Toscano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Carlos Koehler was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, György Cseh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marquinhos Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. György Cseh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ernesto Eger made a huge save. After 57 minutes S.E. Paixão Verde's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Caetano Lopez who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Caetano Lopez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ernesto Eger quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Benjamin Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Duarte dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernesto Eger, 0-4. 69 minutes into the match, S.E. Paixão Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Duarte came free, but Ernesto Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from György Cseh in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Marquinhos Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ernesto Eger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. S.E. Los Bigodes's Marquinhos Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Benjamin Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to S.E. Los Bigodes getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Dino Travassos hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, João Carlos Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caetano Lopez hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match Wiliam Macedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luís Valle skillfully saved the ball. Franklin Diniz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. S.E. Los Bigodes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 93 minutes into the game, Ademar Urbano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Pedro Luís Valle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. S.E. Los Bigodes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
