Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Franklin Diniz started the match with the kick off. Marquinhos Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio Reis having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as S.E. Los Bigodes's Benjamin Toscano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Laércio Reis. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. In the 7th minute, Felipe de Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mattosinhos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Laércio Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Marquinhos Duarte took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Laércio Reis to make any attempt to save it. Laércio Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Toscano in the 19th minute of the match. Eriberto Cabral was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mattosinhos FC! The referee gave S.E. Los Bigodes a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benjamin Toscano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mattosinhos FC's Laércio Reis. 3-1. Marquinhos Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio Reis having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Benjamin Toscano took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Laércio Reis to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 35 minutes, Benjamin Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E. Los Bigodes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marquinhos Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. S.E. Los Bigodes's Benjamin Toscano got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Marquinhos Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Los Bigodes's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laércio Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, S.E. Los Bigodes's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Paraense came free, but Pedro Luís Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, György Cseh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Paraense made a kick off. When Cesinha Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mattosinhos FC's protests and gave Cesinha Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mattosinhos FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Cesinha Mendonça hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, S.E. Los Bigodes's György Cseh got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Laércio Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 57 minutes of play, S.E. Los Bigodes's Marquinhos Duarte made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laércio Reis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, György Cseh managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Marquinhos Duarte ran back to his position shaking his head. Laércio Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from György Cseh in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute Marquinhos Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute Benjamin Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laércio Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marquinhos Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mattosinhos FC's zone, György Cseh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laércio Reis came out of the goal and György Cseh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marquinhos Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marquinhos Duarte struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Laércio Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E. Los Bigodes. Marquinhos Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Mattosinhos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Duarte came free, but Laércio Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laércio Reis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Gustavo Eger went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Laércio Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Duarte in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the S.E. Los Bigodes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
