Spectators: 7240 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Felipe de Brito kicked off to start the match. Waldir Faria scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laércio Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Drycer's zone, Alberto Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breno Seco came out of the goal and Alberto Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waldir Faria hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Dráusio Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldir Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio Reis having to interfere. Laércio Reis came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Drycer's Waldir Faria. But to his dismay, Waldir Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Felipe de Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laércio Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Falcão made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Eriberto Cabral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mattosinhos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drycer the free kick. Júnior Massa hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Breno Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dudu Gomes hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Alberto Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mattosinhos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Paraense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breno Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldir Faria got free with Laércio Reis in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th match minute, Mattosinhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão Simão to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dráusio Passos during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dráusio Passos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Felipe de Brito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Breno Seco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberto Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Seco having to interfere. A collision led to Drycer getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Dráusio Passos hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Alberto Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mattosinhos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Paraense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breno Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Mattosinhos FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Drycer to win.
