An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy Valadares in the 63rd minute of play forced Treze Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Adelino Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Deivid Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Treze Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deivid Nascimento couldn't finish the play. The Olimpo Football Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Treze Futebol Clube's performance.
