Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jailson das Neves started the match with the kick off. Luan Correia came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Figueiredo FC's Jailson das Neves. But to his dismay, Jailson das Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Figueiredo FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. José Maria Favoretto hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Benê do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A MATOGROSSENSE's supporters rose to their feet, but Benê do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Gaúcho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 12 minutes, Marcelinho Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A MATOGROSSENSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelinho Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelinho Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Jailson das Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jailson das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the game, Décio de Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luan Correia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 30 played minutes C.A MATOGROSSENSE got a freekick which was hit by Simão Recife. Luan Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cleiton Lima fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A MATOGROSSENSE's protests and gave Cleiton Lima a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, C.A MATOGROSSENSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Lima to maneuver through the defense. After 40 minutes of play, Figueiredo FC's Jailson das Neves made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luan Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benê do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Emanuel Gaúcho made a huge save.

The wind increased when Marcelinho Paraense made the kick off in the second half. Benê do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Gaúcho having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Figueiredo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benê do Vale came free, but Emanuel Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A MATOGROSSENSE's Luan Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save C.A MATOGROSSENSE from getting a goal against them. After 61 minutes of play, Figueiredo FC's Décio de Andrade made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luan Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, Figueiredo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benê do Vale came free, but Emanuel Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Figueiredo FC's Duarte Cardozo got a free kick in the 68th minute. Figueiredo FC's Emanuel Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Paraense in the 70th minute of play. Jailson das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Décio de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deivid Varela's late challenge caught a Figueiredo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deivid Varela helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes C.A MATOGROSSENSE got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Varela. Figueiredo FC's Décio de Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Figueiredo FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
