In the 10thth minute of the game Jonathan Tepedino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Madridista FC's Abel Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Tepedino in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the game, Jonathan Tepedino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Bolicho's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Meirelles came free, but Ademir Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toninho Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toninho Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Toninho Barros hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. That was the end of his participation in the match. 45 minutes into the game, one of Madridista FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dé Vargas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renato Meirelles made a kick off. Renato Meirelles might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ademir Marques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renato Meirelles ran back to his position shaking his head. Zézinho Prata struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ademir Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madridista FC. Ademir Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Meirelles in the 58th minute of play. Gabriel Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Madridista FC's Zézinho Prata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ademir Marques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdo Furlan during the 79th minute.
