With a little luck, Pseudeos's Ciro Vieira got control of the ball when Décio de Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teodoro Miranda hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Pseudeos's Gilson Romero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Figueiredo FC. If Allan Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 minutes of play, Pseudeos's Clemente Azevedo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 49 minutes, Clemente Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pseudeos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Figueiredo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pseudeos were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Allan Madureira made a kick off. After some careless play in the Pseudeos defense, Jailson das Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Vieira. The Pseudeos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Vieira should have stopped the shot. Pseudeos's Ciro Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson das Neves in the 60th minute of play. Ciro Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson das Neves in the 69th minute of play. When Décio de Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Figueiredo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Décio de Andrade couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Pseudeos's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson das Neves came free, but Ciro Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Décio de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Clemente Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Durval Travassos fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pseudeos's protests and gave Durval Travassos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Durval Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Figueiredo FC's Emanuel Gaúcho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Figueiredo FC from getting a goal against them. Pseudeos's Clemente Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson das Neves in the 97th minute of play forced Pseudeos's goalkeeper Ciro Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pseudeos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
