Benjamim Terra came out of the goal and Teodoro Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Concetto Trombetta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Gaúcho was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Concetto Trombetta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Gaúcho having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Concetto Trombetta in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Gaúcho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hílton Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Valdomiro Vinhas notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Figueiredo FC's Emanuel Gaúcho. Emanuel Gaúcho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Décio de Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Benjamim Terra made a huge save. After the first half Marrenchenko FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdomiro Vinhas in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Gaúcho saved Figueiredo FC from getting behind. In the 53rd minute Jailson das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamim Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Hílton Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marrenchenko FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hílton Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Concetto Trombetta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Emanuel Gaúcho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emanuel Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Cearense in the 95th minute of play. A hard shot 96 in the game by Hílton Cearense from a close distance when the talented Emanuel Gaúcho managed to make a qualified save. Figueiredo FC's players were relieved. Marrenchenko FC played a much better game than Figueiredo FC and deserved their victory. The Figueiredo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
