Benjamim Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamim Terra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benê do Vale in the 17th minute. If Hílton Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luan Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Trombetta in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, C.A MATOGROSSENSE's Marcelinho Paraense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benjamim Terra. Benjamim Terra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 28th minute Concetto Trombetta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hílton Cearense in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luan Correia saved C.A MATOGROSSENSE from getting behind. A collision led to C.A MATOGROSSENSE getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Deivid Varela hit a great ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Concetto Trombetta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A MATOGROSSENSE's Luan Correia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Concetto Trombetta made a precise shot to the right of Luan Correia. C.A MATOGROSSENSE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Concetto Trombetta in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luan Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, C.A MATOGROSSENSE's Deivid Varela got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, C.A MATOGROSSENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Cearense came free, but Luan Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelinho Paraense was the one to do the kick off. Concetto Trombetta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Correia having to interfere. In the 56th minute Hílton Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. One of C.A MATOGROSSENSE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marrenchenko FC:s goal. Luan Correia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marrenchenko FC. Luan Correia stood somewhat misplaced when Valdomiro Vinhas came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 73 minute. After 76 played minutes C.A MATOGROSSENSE got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Gaspar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hílton Cearense in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luan Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Hílton Cearense got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in C.A MATOGROSSENSE's zone, Hílton Cearense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luan Correia came out of the goal and Hílton Cearense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hílton Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Luan Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Benjamim Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Marrenchenko FC's Hílton Cearense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luan Correia. Marrenchenko FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
