Benê do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luan Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Abel Amorim came out of the goal and Benê do Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.A MATOGROSSENSE's Benê do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abel Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê do Vale in the 85th minute of play. Gabriel Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Madridista FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Reis. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
