When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Marcelinho Paraense took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ciro Vieira to make any attempt to save it. When Joel de Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pseudeos's protests and gave Joel de Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pseudeos's Joel de Godoi got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 55th minute of the match Pseudeos got a corner. C.A MATOGROSSENSE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gilson Romero ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 56th match minute, Pseudeos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan da Mata to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Azevedo got free with Luan Correia in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Luan Correia managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Pseudeos's Clemente Azevedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in C.A MATOGROSSENSE's zone, Allan Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luan Correia came out of the goal and Allan Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simão Recife charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simão Recife the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Simão Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, C.A MATOGROSSENSE's Luan Correia got control of the ball when Clemente Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomé Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Paraense in the 86th minute of the match. Benê do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Vieira having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C.A MATOGROSSENSE's Marcelinho Paraense got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A MATOGROSSENSE's goalkeeper Luan Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel de Godoi hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelinho Paraense in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.A MATOGROSSENSE fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pseudeos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
