In the 3rd match minute, Baixio SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy Batista to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Luís Guilherme Martins sped through Baixio SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Walter Hohenzollern. In the 32ndth minute of the game Renato Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolicho's Ademir Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Baixio SC's Dito Couto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ademir Marques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Bolicho's Jonathan Tepedino got a free kick in the 40th minute. Renato Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ademir Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Guilherme Martins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ademir Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Renato Pinheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ademir Marques made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Guilherme Martins in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Hohenzollern prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Bolicho booed when Baixio SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renato Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renato Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademir Marques having to interfere.
