Ramiro Valladares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Ramiro Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pseudeos's Allan da Mata got a free kick in the 25th minute. Vitinho de Sousa's late challenge caught a Pseudeos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Augusto Abreu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pseudeos's Tomé Furlan suffered a sore knee after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Leandro Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. If Clemente Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Ramiro Valladares got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
