The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vito Alcântara was the one to do the kick off. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind MatadorDeOnça's goalkeeper Ulysses Velasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pelotas F.C.'s Jailson Alagoano got a free kick in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Augusto Furlan in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wiliam Carneiro saved Pelotas F.C. from getting behind. MatadorDeOnça's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
