Geraldo Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Porto in the 17th minute of the match. Amadeu Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geraldo Brodel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frédson Vidal went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Tangente FC's Luiz Gustavo Souza got a free kick in the 28th minute. Frédson Vidal spun around in front of the goal 29 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Tangente FC's goal. In the 34th minute, Amadeu Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amadeu Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Geraldo Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Seco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geraldo Brodel. Tangente FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Porto in the 90th minute of play forced Tangente FC's goalkeeper Geraldo Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd match minute, Tangente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Icarai SS were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Tangente FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Serafim Gomes took the corner. The corner led Icarai SS's Serafim Gomes to fire away a dangerous shot which Geraldo Brodel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Icarai SS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
