In the 15th match minute, Barada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Zanette to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Barada's zone, Giovani Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurinho Diniz came out of the goal and Giovani Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodoro de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Ismael Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oséas Félix hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Real Pocotó City's Virgílio de Castro got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Vânderson de Queiroz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredinho Silveira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dário Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Dário Amaral fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maurinho Diniz, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Amaral in the 47th minute of play forced Barada's goalkeeper Maurinho Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. César Medeiros was the one to do the kick off. Barada's Maurinho Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Munhoz in the 52nd minute of play. If Vito Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dário Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Real Pocotó City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dário Amaral couldn't finish the play. Real Pocotó City's Dário Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barada's Maurinho Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Munhoz in the 64th minute of play. Vito Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Maurinho Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurinho Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vito Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dário Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Maurinho Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Barada's zone, Dário Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurinho Diniz came out of the goal and Dário Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Vito Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Pocotó City's supporters rose to their feet, but Vito Munhoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurinho Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dário Amaral struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Maurinho Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Pocotó City. Maurinho Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Munhoz in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes, Toninho do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barada and the Real Pocotó City players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Barada getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Toninho do Vale hit a great ball. If Dário Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dário Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vito Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Maurinho Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Dário Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurinho Diniz. Barada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dário Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Real Pocotó City's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
