FeijoFlu's Ruy Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo Souza in the 23rd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ruy Quirino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute, Cristiano Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Franklin Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Palmeira in the 40th minute of play forced Tangente FC's goalkeeper Geraldo Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Gustavo Trigo in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruy Quirino saved FeijoFlu from getting behind. Luiz Gustavo Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Tangente FC's Geraldo Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Martins in the 54th minute of play. If André Luiz Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geraldo Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luiz Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ruy Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Almir Costa came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Tangente FC fans jumped to their feet. Geraldo Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Geraldo Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Palmeira in the 84th minute of the match. Luiz Gustavo Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guilherme Pombal's late challenge caught a Tangente FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guilherme Pombal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, FeijoFlu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Pombal to maneuver through the defense. After 92 played minutes FeijoFlu got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Porto. Chico Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Brodel having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tangente FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
