After 8 minutes, Wesley Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JUJUBA FC and the Real Pocotó City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wesley Moreira hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, JUJUBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Munhoz came free, but Claudinei Mangueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Eduardo Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. JUJUBA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredinho Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Acácio Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alfredinho Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eduardo Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the JUJUBA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Dantas couldn't finish the play. Real Pocotó City's Alfredinho Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Dantas in the 29th minute of play. Dário Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to JUJUBA FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Matías Linhares hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, JUJUBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Munhoz came free, but Claudinei Mangueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Dário Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinei Mangueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vito Munhoz was the one to do the kick off. JUJUBA FC's Claudinei Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Munhoz in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute Vito Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Dário Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinei Mangueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Claudinei Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Amaral in the 71st minute of play. If Vito Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Wesley Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes of play, Real Pocotó City's Vito Munhoz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudinei Mangueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eduardo Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Alfredinho Silveira made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Vito Munhoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinei Mangueira. JUJUBA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vito Munhoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Dário Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Real Pocotó City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
