The supporters of Black Star Wings booed when Aracu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulisses Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Abel Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulisses Trancoso scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Camargo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30 played minutes Aracu FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Viana. 31 minutes into the match, Aracu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulisses Trancoso came free, but Abel Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Donato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Beto Damião made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Zé Augusto Motta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aracu FC's Zé Augusto Motta got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Augusto Motta had several of the Black Star Wings's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Beto Damião as he didn't even see the shot coming. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beto Trigo to make the kick off. Aracu FC's Zé Augusto Motta got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Douglas Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, Aracu FC's Douglas Donato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beto Damião made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Sérgio Pontes hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Zé Augusto Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Beto Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beto Trigo succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. The Black Star Wings supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Black Star Wings would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
