Claudinei Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Camargo having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After having played for 54 minutes, Zé Augusto Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aracu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Augusto Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Botelho in the 91st minute of the match. Serafim Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Godoi having to interfere. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
