When Salsas's Juarês Mello in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shadow of Nightmare FC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Salsas's Carlos Fernando Hermes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Vítor Veiga. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Carlos Fernando Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vítor Veiga having to interfere. If Narciso Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Eliseu Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Narciso Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute Carlos Fernando Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Juarês Mello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salsas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shadow of Nightmare FC the free kick. Juarês Mello hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Carlos Fernando Veiga hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Narciso Nogueira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramón Godoi. Ramón Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Nogueira went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Shadow of Nightmare FC's zone, Gugu Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Vítor Veiga came out of the goal and Gugu Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Vítor Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Salsas's Ramón Godoi got control of the ball when Téo Abreu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sidnei Machado charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sidnei Machado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gugu Paulista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Vítor Veiga. Shadow of Nightmare FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Juarês Mello got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Salsas's Juarês Mello got a free kick in the 90th minute. Téo Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ramón Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
