If Ulisses Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Douglas Donato made a precise shot to the right of Beto Damião. Black Star Wings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Douglas Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Beto Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beto Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Camargo having to interfere. Beto Trigo's late challenge caught a Aracu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beto Trigo helped the player get up and apologised. Ulisses Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Camargo having to interfere. Abel Camargo was a little too slow when Beto Trigo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Beto Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Augusto Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulisses Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Abel Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Star Wings. Aracu FC's Abel Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Trigo in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Aracu FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mateus das Neves hit a great ball. Ulisses Trancoso charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulisses Trancoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Zé Augusto Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Douglas Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aracu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beto Damião breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Augusto Motta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beto Damião having to make a save. Abel Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The supporters of Aracu FC booed when Black Star Wings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Black Star Wings's Beto Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Black Star Wings from getting a goal against them. If Douglas Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laerte Pimenta hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Aracu FC's Osvaldinho da Cunha tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Black Star Wings's Sérgio Pontes got a free kick in the 87th minute. When the final whistle sounded Aracu FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Black Star Wings.
