Hernani Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Aloísio Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Millwall FC's Hernani Capixaba got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to True Hawks getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Paulo Trancoso hit a great ball. Aloísio Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Capixaba in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Millwall FC were awarded a corner. Hernani Capixaba went to the cornerflag to take it. Gustavo Proença was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alfredinho Domingues. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Dênis de Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of True Hawks booed when Millwall FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedé da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Natã Vinhas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Millwall FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave True Hawks the free kick. After 57 played minutes Millwall FC got a freekick which was hit by Natã Vinhas. Aloísio Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Millwall FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Proença, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th match minute, Millwall FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. Hernani Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Campidelis having to interfere. Emanuel Miranda took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Proença. Gustavo Proença dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Millwall FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
