Marcos Salgado's late challenge caught a LuKe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Eme SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Salgado to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match Marcos Salgado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley Monteiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcinho da Rocha struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Mário Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LuKe FC. LuKe FC's Denílson Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Pedro Paulo Vasconcelos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eme SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Wesley Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Mário Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Félix in the 28th minute of the match. Gualter Seco made in the 37th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alan Santos however managed to control. 39 minutes into the match, Marcinho da Rocha notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Eme SC's Mário Veiga. Mário Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 46 played minutes, LuKe FC's Gualter Seco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mário Veiga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LuKe FC reached it.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinho Tróia in the 52nd minute of play forced LuKe FC's goalkeeper Wesley Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 minutes, Enéas Pirani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LuKe FC and the Eme SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, LuKe FC's Enéas Pirani got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th match minute, LuKe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Carlos Melo to maneuver through the defense. Wesley Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Pedro Paulo Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Carlos Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Mário Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mário Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Félix in the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to Eme SC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Serginho Hoffmann hit a great ball. José Carlos Melo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gernando Leite during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Gernando Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Pedro Paulo Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LuKe FC were furious when Pedro Prestes was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to LuKe FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Pedro Prestes hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the LuKe FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Eme SC.
