Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustavo Proença made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Daniel Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Paulista having to interfere. If Daniel Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Millwall FC's Hernani Capixaba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aloísio Paulista. Aloísio Paulista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Hernani Capixaba came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aloísio Paulista could save by the left post. Aloísio Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernani Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AD Academia Real's Aloísio Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zonta in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Millwall FC's Marcel Vides got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes, Luiz Guilherme Siqueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Millwall FC and the AD Academia Real players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernani Capixaba helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Millwall FC got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Capixaba. If Daniel Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernani Capixaba was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Silvério Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 played minutes AD Academia Real got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar de Toledo. In the 57th match minute, Millwall FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Vides to maneuver through the defense. If Jeremias Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, AD Academia Real was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Millwall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Barreto came free, but Gustavo Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernani Capixaba took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aloísio Paulista. Aloísio Paulista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernani Capixaba in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aloísio Paulista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardinho de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Paulista having to interfere. Aloísio Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernani Capixaba in the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in AD Academia Real's zone, Daniel Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Paulista came out of the goal and Daniel Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Millwall FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
