After a defensive mix-up in Vila Ildemar FC's zone, Luisão Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara came out of the goal and Luisão Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dênis de Toledo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Anderson Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Peruíbe FC got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Pinheiro. Vila Ildemar FC's Sílvio Luiz Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Vaz in the 79th minute of play. If Luisão Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raphael Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luiz Alcântara having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Luisão Vaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sílvio Luiz Alcântara was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. A collision led to Vila Ildemar FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Silas Damião hit a great ball. After 96 minutes, Luisão Vaz made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vila Ildemar FC's Sílvio Luiz Alcântara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Peruíbe FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
