Benedito Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rafinha Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Linhares in the 20th minute of play forced H.Vianna Soccer Team's goalkeeper Rafinha Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Lenílson Velasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafinha Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 25 minutes, Lenílson Velasco made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. H.Vianna Soccer Team's Rafinha Arruda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafinha Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lenílson Velasco went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Roman Pavlyuchenko charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Pavlyuchenko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, Pinheiros Capibaras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Pavlyuchenko to maneuver through the defense. Erik de Senna, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lenílson Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafinha Arruda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Lenílson Velasco made the kick off in the second half. Lenílson Velasco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafinha Arruda came out and tried to block the shot, but Lenílson Velasco slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 61st minute. If Lenílson Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. H.Vianna Soccer Team's Rafinha Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Velasco in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Dieguinho Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Telmo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Rafinha Arruda made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Lenílson Velasco sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Dieguinho Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th match minute, Pinheiros Capibaras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Pavlyuchenko to maneuver through the defense. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedito Trevisan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lenílson Velasco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafinha Arruda came out and tried to block the shot, but Lenílson Velasco slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 86th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Adhemar Motta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Telmo Chaves. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adhemar Motta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. When the match was over Pinheiros Capibaras FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than H.Vianna Soccer Team throughout the match.
