Ivo Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Tepedino in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Acarahu FC's José Pedro Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldinho Paes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Wágner de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acarahu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wágner de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldinho Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osvaldinho Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner de Barros in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Sérgio Couto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osvaldinho Paes, 2-0. Osvaldinho Paes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wágner de Barros's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. When Kaká Donato came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Acarahu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaká Donato couldn't finish the play. Wágner de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Osvaldinho Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Non Dvcor Dvco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldinho Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner de Barros in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Kaká Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acarahu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaká Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dagoberto Pires charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dagoberto Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Acarahu FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Dagoberto Pires hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Kaká Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
